Shared Ownership
What is a'Shared Ownership'?
Introduced in April 2006, Shared Ownership is part of the Government's target to assist 100,000 households into home ownership by 2010.
Shared Ownership enables social tenants, key workers and first time buyers to buy a share of a home and get a first step on the property ladder that they would not otherwise be able to afford.
